Barely discernible from the distance, it appears to be a white, neutral kind of dress with a peculiar flutter perceived by the draft of soft wind. However, upon closer inspection, one can see what a fun print this dress turns out to be. Dotted all across in gentle waves are confetti shaped prints in muted colors of jade, purple, orange, light and dark grey. It's the kind of dress you don't notice at first and the more you look at it, the more you see. Its presence is subtle, but certainly not quiet.
John at first thought it was weird
looking and said the dress reminded him of a goldfish's tail. It sort of
does and I've grown fond of it. I love the way it looks when the wind is blowing. It drapes so prettily at rest, too. It's an old thing, but I've a feeling it'll be sticking around for quite awhile. Thought an updo would show off its softness and elegance. One of the days, I'll put on some heels. I've got plenty, but I get very nervous wearing them - the perpetual fear of falling and twisting my ankles is ever present.

It's a lovely dress, and you are right the more you see it the more it shows itself.
ReplyDeleteYou look so lovely and feminine in these shots. Really beautiful.
Much love
Oh, gosh, you're making me blush, Mona! Thank you! ❤
DeleteI love the material of that dress! It looks so nice and breezy to wear. I can feel it already :)
ReplyDeleteFor the record, I actually like goldfish's tail. I always find it rather graceful and elegant. If I were reborn, I'd very much like to be a goldfish ;)
Alive as Always
I feel as if this dress was made for windy days. I also like goldfish tails too! I love the way their tails move in water. And they look so silky. I think you would make an adorable goldfish, Bivi. :D
DeleteThis is a beautiful dress! I love the way it moves in the wind! And it does kind of remind me of a goldfish tail - but in a really good way! Very cute flats, too!
