I never thought much of daisies until I met John. They were simple and unobtrusive. They didn't stand out the way sunflowers did with their sheer size and brilliant yellow petals opening up towards the sun (can you tell I like sunflowers?). But he liked them because they were simple and unobtrusive. They're the kind of flowers that are real easy-going and put a small, affectionate smile on your face. They're adoringly cute. They don't make you gasp the way roses do, but I like that. And they remind me of tiny sunflowers except they come in all sorts of colors!
We snapped these shots nearly a month ago. They were sadly lost and
forgotten in the jumble of every day life until I decided to look
through old photos to gauge how much I've grown as a
blogger/photographer. The weather was something fierce and I tried
really hard not to look as if I was melting from the heat. I'm no model -
posing does not come naturally to me, but I'm working on it! I love
candid shots because they capture such sweet moments when the soul is
alive - burning with the essence "id" that posing undeniably hides. At
least, that's how it is for me anyway.

Dress: Oasap
Sandals: New Look
Belt: boutique
I agree about daisies. They are nice but "quiet" flowers.
ReplyDeleteThis dress and outfit is beautiful and I think you do a great job at posing. It's so hard, and doesn't come naturally to me either, but I think you look like a natural!
Beautiful! Have a lovely day.
Much love,
Mona
