Except I don't like watermelon. In fact, I'm one of those weirdos who find themselves gagging after eating a slice. I know how refreshing it is to bite into its crisp, juicy flesh on a hot sweltering day. When no amount of water is able to quench my thirst, especially considering how hot it's been this past week and will be this summer, this is what I want to eat to satisfy my parched throat. Only I'm unable to. I just can't! Believe me, I've tried. While John on the other hand could eat a whole watermelon if he's allowed to. And it looks so incredibly satisfying.
Too hot! Simply not having it. |
While I don't like to consume the fruit itself, I do indeed favor the color a lot. It's such a cheerful color and puts me in a sunny mood (hah!). This H&M dress itself is very flattering in the way it flutters in the wind or moves simply from walking. It's quite old. I've had it for years now. Needless to say, not everything I wear is new. I do like to cycle in new pieces every so often and phase out older stuff that haven't received too much TLC from me. Although as of late, I have been considering sewing my own clothes but that's a whole other discussion suited for a more appropriate post in the future.

Lovely photos as always Zoey!
ReplyDeleteYou look so pretty in that colour. It goes so well with your lovely skintone. The dress is really cute.
Also, I'm not a big fan of watermelon either (the fruit not the colour).
Hope you're having a great weekend.
Much love,
Mona
Your outfit is adorable, I adore the dress and the hat together! :D Watermelon is like cucumber for me, it kind of tastes like cold watery flowers xD there is no juicy flavour like in a strawberry! Loving your photos and your blog, followed on GFC! :D xx
