Outfit: Sage & Grids

While I am not very fond of summer (and the scorching heat that it brings), I do think the evenings can be quite lovely for chasing the golden hour. The sun is still going strong, but its rays now cast a soft, warm glow throughout the park. It's comforting and gentle and surprises me how nice it can be. I find I only get this feeling when I'm out somewhere filled with nature - lush green grass, trees, lakes. I would love to be able to wake up and stroll through the forest anytime I want. Now if only I could step through my wardrobe into a magical land called...!

My favorite piece in this outfit has got to be the vintage sandals. I found them on Etsy while trying to find a replacement for my white huaraches. I thought these looked so unique and interesting. At first I wasn't going to buy them because I didn't think they'd go with my style. I'm sure glad I did though. They go with everything! My mom even wanted them for herself, but when I told her they were vintage pre-owned, she completely lost interest. Dropped them like hot coals. She's never understood why I love vintage clothing/shoes when I could buy things brand new things. I'm not even sure I remember how I first began my love for vintage apparel as no one in my family is remotely interested in it. Let's just say, I'm considered to have "unique" taste.

P.S. Did anyone go to the park to catch Pokemon this weekend?
