Outfit: Passion Burning So Bright

John doesn't buy me flowers very often. And I don't expect him to either. Not even on Valentine's Day, but sometimes he likes to surprise me! I found these on my doorstep as I stepped out to get into his car. He knows well that I'd rather have just one sunflower or daisy than an enormous bouquet of roses. These were lovely though! It came with a cute stuffed bunny, which I forgot to take a photo of. While admiring the flowers, a curious little bee came by for a long (and much undesired) visit...!

We decided to celebrate Valentine's Day a day early at Tam O'Shanter, which is an Irish themed steakhouse. We'd rather avoid the actual day itself due to unsightly, over-the-top couples whispering cheesy cliches and staring intensely into each others' eyes. Just kidding. Go romance one another. I don't care. I just don't care for how insanely crowded restaurants get. I just want my food and I don't want to have to wait over an hour for it! We had an extremely early dinner reservation for 4:15pm. I was not kidding when I said we don't like waiting. We're absolutely fine going off-hours for dinner. In fact, we do that almost all the time. We were seated in a nice little corner all to ourselves. The interior was dark and quiet. I got the traditional Tam O'Shanter prime rib dinner, which was very delicious. All in all, a very romantic dinner!

P.S. We watched Deadpool in IMAX after. It was worth every penny. Such a good movie!
