There's something beautiful and organic about the jewelry designed and made by Sabine from EON Design. Everything is handmade. I love how unique her designs are. To me, her best work is her necklaces. They are feminine, ethereal, and oh, so lovely.





While they are quite out of my price range, I can't help admiring them. It doesn't hurt to look, right? I do have this pair of earrings (no longer listed) that I do love to bits, though.

 I'm actually wearing the dress backward as it is rather revealing when worn correctly. Looks better this way, don't you think? I'd rather have my back showing than my front! The print reminds me of a picnic table cloth - sort of, which is why I'm determined to have a picnic and actually make it happen. The dress is some sort of cotton blend so it's very light. Makes sweltering summer days bearable when you still want to look cute.

 Anyway, I'm becoming a fan of formfitting midi dresses like this. While it does make me feel a little self-conscious and it's not something I wear often, I do like the silhouette. It's like I'm covered up, but not really. I don't think I'm being indecent, but I do think it does take some confidence to wear as it does hug all your curves. And with some sweet rustic red flats like these, it was the perfect outfit for a lunch date with my love. My favorite part of the flats is the tiny jewel crystal at the bottom, which sadly does not have its own photo yet.

 I try not to wear sandals that cut off at the ankles, as it makes my already stumpy legs even stumpier, but I couldn't resist the design. I've had it for years and especially love wearing them with maxi skirts or dresses. Something for the future...!

But alas, I live in the city. With hardly a hill in site, I am only deluding myself and so, must dream realistically. Although I do have a small collection of softcover and hardcover books, my main library is stored in the Kindle. As much as I love the smell and feel of actual books, I do like the convenience and storage capacity of my Kindle. And it's got a pretty sweet cover. I'm such a bookworm that I could spend hours perusing through old donated books that I forget John is there with me. Which reminds me...must pay a visit to The Last Bookstore!
