Armed With Thread & Needle

Spent the day mending and alternating a bunch of vintage clothes in my closet. This blue skirt is very dear to me because it holds a lot of memories for me. I found it while thrift shopping in Japan several years ago and every time I look at it, it reminds me of that time. There are so many unique thrift shops in Japan, and I had to hold myself back. I could only fit so much in my luggage!

Now, I'm off to do some errands in one of my newly mended skirts. I'll try to snap some pictures later.

  1. Have I seen that skirt on you? I wish I went with someone who liked clothes shopping while I was there. The only shopping I did was for manga and souvenirs. :( Though, with how Japanese females tend to wear smaller sizes, I doubt thrift shopping would go well for me.

  2. I'm not sure if you've seen it or not. I had to alter this skirt to make it smaller in the waist. I found clothing in all sorts of sizes and shapes so I think you would be fine. I would definitely have gone with you if I could!
